Chapter 117
You really should not mock prophets and you
really should not be skeptical of prophets. If you do it is because you never
were taught that in your church. Your church would never allow that part of the
five-fold ministry in it.
Prophets carry a mantle and to
understand what that is you have to look at Moses,
look at Elijah, and look at Elisha. These are mantles of prophets. The
difference in modern prophets and the prophets back then, is that Jesus brought
grace that absolutely extends the harvest froom coming
and it makes it
farther off and causes repentance that people have time to repent and cancel
prophecies.
The reason you should not mock a
prophet is because when Nathan came in to talk to David, David had already
committed that sin he had done and cause Uriah to be killed with the Ammonite
sword. He told Joab to step back from h'm so that he would surely die because
David had committed adultery with Uriah's wife and she
was pregnant with David's son. David thought he would bring Uriah in for some r
& r and Uriah would have sex with his wife and think the child was his.
However, Uriah refused to have sex with his wife.
So, David handed Uriah a sealed
note to take to Joab, not realizing that it was his death warrant. When he did
David took Bathsheba into his home and she became his number one wife. Nathan
the prophet came before David and said to him, "There's this case in Israel
that I want you to hear. There's two men. One is a very rich man who has a
multitude of sheep and the other is a poor man who has one little lamb and this little lamb is like one of his children. He
lives in the house with him and is so precious to him."
The rich man who had flocks of
sheep had a man come and visit him and instead of taking one of his sheep's and
killing it he took the poor man's sheep and killed it."
David, being a shepherd, said,
"Who is this man?" "He should die and give back fourfold and on he went and this is what his verdict is!" And Nathan, the
prophet looked at David and said, "You are that man!"You took Uriah and had put him in harms way so he would be killed. I've given you everything
and I would have given you such and such!" What was the one thing David longed
to do for the Lord? Build Him a temple! 2 Sam. 11 & 12 David was fearfull that he
would have to die but the prophet said David would live but the child would
die. David spoke his own judgement.
A true prophet will scare kings,
they will scare pastors, they will scare presidents, and they will scare
governors. Because they speak for the Lord. The mantle of a prophet brings the
court of Jehovah into the realm of kings. God has to
have a way to bring His court from heaven into the court of men so that He can
try them there.
When you start mocking prophets,
you are doing what the Lord told you not to do. Do My prophets no harm.
Prophets are vulnerable to ridicule, and they hear it, but they're only
servants of one person and that's God! They are not your servants, they are
His! If you mock prophets, you place yourself in a position to have the Lord
judge you right where you are! You have just brought about
your own judgement and have violated a direct command of the Lord.
Just because your denomination
threw them out because they are afraid of them, don't you fall into the same trap
and pass judgement on them because they are God's servants, and He will judge
them. When you hear someone prophesy or tell you what they have heard from the
Lord, don't judge them because you have not heard or seen what the Lord has
revealed to them!
I have learned to just put those
things on the shelf if I don't understand them or if the Holy Spirit has not
yet revealed them to me. When the Lord is teaching you something that He wants
you to know at this time, just be patient and if it is of the Lord and He wants
you to understand these things, He will reveal them to you when you are ready
to receive them.
There are eighty-year-old
prophecies to be fulfilled. Well, most of you were not alive eighty years ago,
but I was. I was only three years old.
Obama tried to bring this nation
down to a common level with all the evil nations. He wanted to beat the
exceptionalism out of this nation and beat it down to a common everyday place
among the nations and to nothing special about the USA. If the United States of
America was just a common nation, then where is her greatness? Where is her
greatness among the nations?
What Obama hates about the USA is
that it is great! In his effort to tear down this nation he said that our
constitution was flawed. So, they have gone underground to change it! The 2020
campaign and the presidency are now being run from underground. Obama is the
only president that has not left Washington DC after his term of office was
over. He has organized over 200 community organizing groups called Organizing For America.
We are on the verge of losing the
greatest nation that has ever been on the face of this earth! I cannot
fellowship with a bunch of Christians that want to sit back and teach the same
thing they were teaching fifty years ago. We must know our God and know and do
exploits in His name.
In Ezekiel 38:1-6 the Lord said,
"Son of man, set your face
against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech
and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn you
back, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth, and all your
army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor,
even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling
swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them
with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house
of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his
bands: and many people with you."
We talk about Russia as being a
bear and the Lord says He is going to put a hook in his jaw! Several months ago there was a word from the Lord saying, "Listen to the
moan of the Bear." The moan we hear now is the hook being placed
the Bear's mouth.We have been led to
believe that this is when the Bear decides to come down on Israel. I want to
draw your attention to what the Lord said in Ezekiel 38:4. He did not say I will
put a hook in your jaw, He said, "I will put hooks in your jaws!" And He talked about different leaders and
that He is leading all these armies with hooks in their jaws. The leader that
is directing all of this is not someone foreign to you.
The Lord spoke a word for Putin.
He said, "You beware, the next few steps you take will put you in grave danger
of something happening to you." "You are two steps away from being destroyed!"
And then He said, "You are right now My battle axe and I'm using you like
Nebuchadnezzar and you haven't done anything that puts you guilty yet, but if
you make the wrong moves and overstepped so, don't do something you will be
guilty of!"
Satan is so sneaky! He will
influence you to always find something to criticize people about! In Rev. 12:10
John heard a voice in heaven saying,
"Now is come salvation, and
strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the
accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
You must learn to control the
thoughts that come into your mind. Paul said in 2 Cor. 10:15,
"For the weapons of our
warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of
strong holds;) Casting
down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the
knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ!"
We must be very careful what we
allow our minds to dwell on! Stop yourself when you want to accuse someone.
That is a trap of the devil to get you to say what he wants to say! Don't allow
him to use you to be the accuser of our brethren. Paul also said in Phil. 4:8,
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and
if there be any praise, think on these things!"
Only you have the power to
control what you think about and by the power of the Holy Spirit you can cast
down those thoughts of accusations against others!
